Redesign of SimilarWeb's External Website
Desktop And Mobile
Project Background
During my period of work as a UI/UX designer at SimilarWeb, I worked on a comprehensive project of redesigning the company's entire external website.
SimilarWeb offers its customers five different types of packages, each offering a solution to a different group of users. I redesigned the solutions as well as all the additional internal pages in the site.
My Role:
UX / UI Designer, Visual Designer
Tools:
Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop
Date:
2022
Goals and Objectives
-
Maintain visual, conceptual, and structural uniformity between all pages and all elements in the site.
-
Convey a sense of innovation and arouse the users' curiosity, in order to draw their attention to the content and prompt them to action.
-
Convey a sense of security among users and give them the feeling that SimilarWeb is a solid, responsible, reliable, innovative, and trendy company. They may therefore feel secure entrusting their time and money to SimilarWeb's solutions In order to advance their business.
-
Enable users to understand how the solution will help their business, and why it is worth their while to acquire it.
Solutions
-
Use of a very clean, sharp design, a hi-tech style design, restrained but more innovative and trendier than what's available on the market, to cause users to focus on what's important and appreciate the company's character
-
Elements of movement in the design, such as the swashes, create an energy of flow and action.
-
Uniformity throughout all of the site's pages is an indication of professionalism and reliability..
-
Colors that emphasize reliability and innovation and differentiate between the solutions (each solution has its own color).
-
Content that emphasizes, throughout the site, SimilarWeb's uniqueness and reliability.
-
The page's design and layout help users understand at a glance the solution's content, how the solution can help their business, and why they should acquire it.
I designed and illustrated everything presented here (including Hero Images). The work on the Hero Images involved the use of three software programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma) to achieve optimal results.
